Terms of Use

Effective 22 October 2026. By using Holdout you agree to these terms. Holdout is provided by Owais Builds (support@owaisbuilds.com).

Who can use Holdout

You must be 18 or older. You’re responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email.

Not medical advice

Holdout is a self-help tool to support quitting nicotine. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or replace professional care. If you have health concerns, talk to a doctor or pharmacist.

Fair play

The board exists to reward real effort. Don’t automate holds, tamper with the app or API, or create multiple accounts to climb the board. We may remove holds, reset ranks or suspend accounts that do.

Names, crew names and notes

Keep them clean: no hate, harassment, sexual content, impersonation, real-world personal information, or nicotine brand promotion. We may change or remove names and notes that break this rule, and suspend accounts that keep doing it.

Holdout Plus

Plus is an optional subscription sold through Google Play. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in Google Play. Trials convert to paid unless you cancel before they end. Refunds follow Google Play’s policies. Core features (holds, boards, crews, slips, witnesses) stay free.

Availability

We work hard to keep Holdout running, but it’s provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll update the date above, and continuing to use Holdout means you accept the new terms.
